令和4年6月3日（金）4限目に視聴覚室にて、卒業生(兄弟2名)と、その勤務先（トヨタカローラ新大阪）の上司2名を講師として、本校全校生徒に対し、将来の進路選択の為の課外授業『ようこそ先輩』を開催しました。

講演では、卒業生の上司（管理本部マネージャー）の水畑様より、「会社の説明や仕事内容」だけでなく「社会人になる心得」なども教えていただきました。

また、その話の合間には、卒業生の兄 横路 雄大さんより「会社を志望したきっかけ」や「仕事の楽しさ」などの話をしていただき、弟の 横路 脩馬さんからは「学校で印象に残っている授業内容」「苦手だった授業」などを話していただきました。生徒たちは、先輩方の話なので、興味津々で聞いていました。

最後の質疑応答では、生徒からの「就職したら他のメーカの車を購入して乗ることはできますか？」に対しては、笑顔での回答があり、会場が和やかな雰囲気に包まれました。

また、教員からの「仕事を辞めたいと思ったことはありますか？そのとき辞めなかった理由は何ですが？」に対しては、卒業生兄弟だけでなく、上司の方2名にも回答いただき、それぞれの人生を語る回答に対して、生徒たちは、真剣な眼差しで聞いていました。

進路指導部としては、この講演をとおし、生徒たちが、「働くこと」の意味を実感し、主体的に進路選択をする能力を育成したいと考えています。

また、本校は「北摂地域唯一の自動車を学ぶ公立高校」です。今回のように「自動車整備業」の仕事の楽しさや醍醐味などを伝えていただくことで、生徒たちが自動車整備業で働くことを考えるきっかけになることも期待しています。
