  • 令和4年5月23日㈪に本校教職員4名で産業技術短期大学に見学へ行きました。

産業技術短期大学へ到着してから、まずは学科の説明をしていただきました。機械工学科、電気電子工学科、情報処理工学科の3つの学部があり、2年間で基礎からものづくり教育を行い未来の技術者を育成するとの事でした。また、担任制と少人数制を行っており高校から進学しても担任の先生が手厚く面倒を見て頂ける点が、定時制高校の生徒にマッチングしているように思いました。

卒業後の進路では、昨年度の就職内定率は98.6%、そのうちの過半数が製造業への就職を行い学生一人あたりの求人者数は3.5社となっておりました。進学では、国立大学への編入や関西大学、龍谷大学など11大学からの指定校推薦を受けており、国公立大学へは7大学11名の進学実績がありました。また、大学の難しい授業内容は習熟度別クラスに分かれて指導する点や、それぞれの生徒の能力を伸ばす点も気になったポイントでした。

また、大学に進学するとなれば、学費については殆どの人が気にするポイントだと思います。産業技術短期大学では、修学支援制度や奨学金などが充実しており、金銭的なことや個人的なことも相談に乗ってくれる体制があり高校の教員として安心できるポイントでした。

最後に、学生プロジェクトとしてベンツ１号機のレプリカ作製し実際に走らせるなど機械工学に興味のある生徒にとっては、大変興味深い内容も取り組まれていました。最近では、無人のレスキューロボットを作製し、コンテストに参加しています。他にもいくつものプロジェクトがあり、多方面でサポートされています。

1時間と大変短い時間ではありましたが、産業技術短期大学について、たくさん知ることができました。オープンキャンパスには、進学に興味ある生徒を連れて、今回の訪問では足らなかった魅力を一緒に感じたいと思いました。
