11月27日(日)に開催された茨木ヴィンテージカーショーVOL.10に自動車系列の生徒たちが整備をしたホンダビートを出展しました。
コロナ禍により茨木市中央公園グラウンドで、３年ぶりの開催となりましたが、総勢88台の展示と、ライブ演奏やフード・グッズ販売もあり、老若男女、様々な方が来場され、実際、展示車の周りには地域の方々だけでなく、卒業生たちも遊びに来てくれて、大変盛り上がりました。
今回、本校としても令和元年度以来、３回目の出展となり、生徒たちはクラブ活動が間々ならなかった時期にも、いつの日か、出展できる日が来ることを信じて、少しずつ整備を行ってきました。
今回出展した車両は、何年間も生徒たちと共に、車の『走る・曲がる・止まる』を担うエンジン、トランスミッション、ブレーキキャリパーのオーバーホール等、何度も分解と組立てを行ってきた実習車両です。
ここで、出展へ向けて、生徒と車体を綺麗にしてきた行程について、簡単にご紹介いたします。
まず、アルミホイールの塗装とボディの全塗装へ向けて、可能な限りの部品を外しました。
その後、少しずつ塗装を行い、塗装が終わった部品を順番に取り付け、塗装面の磨き、調整を繰り返しながら完成をめざしました。
すべての部品が装着されたのは、出展２日前、金曜日の夜となりました。
