『准校長式辞』
前期の授業が終わり秋休み前に、以下のように語りました。
■【最近の本校の挑戦紹介】
最近の本校生徒による2つの挑戦を紹介しました。1つ目は、バスケットボール部が20年ぶりに公式戦に出場しチーム初勝利をしたこと。2つ目は、軽音楽部が大阪府定時制通信制高校の合同文化祭「生徒秋季発表大会」の舞台の部に5年ぶり出場して健闘したこと。これら2つの「挑戦」を讃えました。
■【ラグビー日本代表稲垣選手「やるべきことをやる」挑戦について】
「笑わない男」で有名なラグビー日本代表の稲垣啓太選手が、スポーツ雑誌『Number』において、「やるべきことやることが、何より大事です。いいことがあっても大喜びせず、結果が出なかった時でも落ち込まず、次の機会に向けて、やるべきことを準備して、鍛えて、蓄えて、を繰り返して、ひたすら成長を繰り返してきました。」と語っていることを紹介しました。
■【秋休み中のお願い】
そして、「この秋休み中に、生徒の皆さん一人一人が、稲垣選手のように、地道なことでもいいので、自分自身の「やるべきこと」を見つけて、それを継続する挑戦をしてほしい！」と訴えました。
